Bruce Gardner Insurance Agency is certified to provide you with health insurance from Anthem HealthKeepers and the Health Insurance Marketplace. This is our fifth year providing these services.
We are here for you throughout the year. If you have a question about the paperwork you receive, let us know. We can help explain these reports and letters.
Individual Health Insurance Policies:
Individual health insurance policies can be purchased directly from Anthem with no income-based subsidies, or they can be purchased through the Marketplace, which offers income-based subsidies and reduced deductible limits.
The open enrollment window for both methods begins November 1, 2017, and closes December 15, 2017. “Special Enrollment” exceptions to this window apply only if you meet certain conditions, such as marriage, divorce, adoption, loss of employment, etc. These exceptions will be looked at closely. I expect them not to be granted as easily in 2018.
December 15, 2017, is the cut-off day for coverage starting January 1, 2018. This is 45 days in total to enroll in health insurance coverage! Start early to avoid the rush!
Review Your Health Insurance Options:
To talk about health insurance coverages, please contact us. We are happy to help you review your options and answer your questions before you apply.
For a record of your health insurance payments from the last year, please contact your current insurance provider and ask for a Payment History Report.
